This is Austin Hill’s angel investment company. Austin’s invested in numerous companies (across multiple industries) throughout his career, not the least of which is his own “baby” Akoha, which recently launched. Austin was the first investor in Standout Jobs.
Alex Eberts
A superstar in every way, Alex has been a supporter of Standout Jobs from day one. He’s a serial entrepreneur and programmer with plenty of success under his belt. Alex has served as a great sounding board for Standout, and we appreciate his support daily. He’s currently working with Austin Hill on Akoha.
Mark Dowds & Bobby John
Two great serial entrepreneurs that have worked together for many years and launched a whackload of startups. Their latest venture is Brainpark.
Mark Dowds is an original thinker, entrepreneur, coach, and leader. He is known for his deep insight into people, relational dynamics, and his systems perspective on organizational development.
Bobby is originally a management consultant with a passion for technology in business and operational efficiency, finding creative solutions to reduce complexity in how companies are run. He has an extensive track record of saving companies and projects that have spiraled out of control.
Richard Humphrey
A serial entrepreneurial and investor with extensive experience in product design, outsourcing, and business development. He was named by Inc. magazine to the 2003 Inc 500 list as CEO of one of the fastest growing private companies in America for growing his company by over 1,300%. In 2004, OC Business Journal recognized him for his “Excellence in Entrepreneurism” and OC Metro profiled him as a “Young Business Star”.
Guy Gervais
Educated as an Electrical Engineer, Guy has a unique expertise in the technology manufacturing sector. Before being the founder of HumanID Technologies, a business angel capital firm, Guy was the CEO of Vulcain Alarme, an environmental technology manufacturing company. On top of being chairman of the board of HumanID and Fier Soutien-Longueuil, he is on the board of directors of several tech companies.
Jeff Stewart
A technology entrepreneur and investor. Jeff has founded over a half dozen companies, which if combined employ over 600 people. Most recently Jeff founded Urgent Career, which is pioneering the use of linguistic algorithms to find, screen and match sales talent with fast growing companies. He’s an active member of the startup community in New York, getting involved with a lot of startups - as an advisor and investor.
Roger Ehrenberg
Through IA Capital Partners, Roger Ehrenberg has invested in numerous early stage companies in New York and elsewhere. He’s a mainstay on the startup scene in New York with deep roots and knowledge of financial markets, investor relationships and running businesses. He blogs at Information Arbitrage.

An Inc. 500 CEO and serial entrepreneur himself, David S. Rose has been described by Crain’s New York Business as “the father of angel investing in New York”, and by Red Herring Magazine as the “patriarch of Silicon Alley”. Through Rose Tech Ventures, David has invested in numerous early stage companies.
