Employer Branding 2.0

Here is a great presentation on Employer Branding by Dan Stuart at Bayt.com, the top Middle Eastern job board.

Some highlights:

  • “…a strong Employer Brand - built from honest dialogue - is an important ingredient in the ability to attract, engage and retain top talent.”
  • One of the keys to building a disruptive employer brand is dialogue (between job seekers/candidates and employers), and the corporate career site plays a key role, combining new technology with the company’s current staff.
  • “…candidates expect to be able to find out what it is really like to work for a company, and they respect the companies that enable that process.”

The key is that getting started with employer branding is quite easy. It’s not expensive to initiate great employer branding strategies and start seeing a significant ROI in a short period of time.
